The Seminole Ridge Neighborhood is one of the favorites in Fitchburg. It right next to McKee Farm’s park, West of Fish Hatchery Road and just south of McKee Road. The homes in this neighborhood are spacious both inside the home and outside. Most were built in 1980s to 1990s and have 3 to 4 bedrooms. The typical home is going to be either a ranch or colonial style. The average home price is mid-$300,000s. When buying a home in this neighborhood, you get an open concept, modern finishes, and space! Many of the homes were featured in the Parade Of Homes. Seminole Ridge is zoned for the Madison School District, which includes Leopold Elementary, Cherokee Middle School, and West High School.
McKee Farm’s Park is the best in Fitchburg. This park features a multi-use shelter with restrooms and a rental space with kitchen, a bicycle/pedestrian path system, picnic tables, softball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, three play equipment areas (Kid’s Crossing is the favorite). In the winter, there is an ice skating rink as well.The green space does not end there however. Many properties have many trees and lush landscapes.
