The Southwest Side of Madison offers 10 to 50 year old properties. There are some empty lots also. In this part of Madison, properties are more affordable than the Near West, West and Far West Side parts.
The Beltline and Verona Road make transportation to any part of the city easy and convenient.
Elver Park is the biggest park nearby. In the winter, this is the favorite place to sled and cross country ski. In the Summer, the Fourth of July Fireworks are well-known in all of Madison. Other parks in the region are Country Grove Park, Prairie Ridge Park, and Heugel Park.
McKee Road is conveniently lined with shops and restaurants. The school district includes one of Madison’s newest schools in Madison, Chavez Elementary.
